sometimes all you need is a little getaway!✨

this boutique hotel on Coronado island recently hit it’s one year mark & is a great, stylish spot to stay if you’re looking for proximity to downtown San Diego (Petco Park, Gaslamp, Little Italy) & beyond — OR if you’re wanting to plant yourself on Coronado, only a quick stroll from the sand & the main stretch of shops and restaurants.

can’t forget to mention some of the best parts:

• The Bower sits right across the street from the iconic Hotel del Coronado. you can still peruse the area and take in the scenery!
• they provide beach chairs & bikes (yes, e-bikes) that you can use, just ask the front desk!
• this hotel is home to the only rooftop on the island (@divecoronado), a perfect spot for an evening beverage or a morning avocado toast!
• @lelabofragrances in every room? you bet!

and genuinely one of the comfier hotel beds out there! + it’s pet-friendly, too!✨🐾

slow summer days in Southern Italy ✨ as we approach our 1 year wedding anniversary, i can’t help but reminisce on all the magic that is Puglia.

the golden stone as beautiful as the whitewashed villages. the warm light. the olive groves & fruit orchards. the wildflowers along the side of the roads.
