Where to Stay in Seville: Boutique Hotels Filled with Andalusian Charm
Last Updated on February 25, 2026 by Lauren Belzer Sanford
Seville is one of those cities that wraps you up immediately — orange blossoms, tiled courtyards, the golden-hour glow that somehow lasts for hours. It’s warm (hot depending on the time of year), expressive, creative, and very walkable. I spent 5 days in Seville with my parents in 2023 and completely fell for it. We spent our days wandering between the Cathedral and the Real Alcázar, getting lost in the narrow streets of Santa Cruz, and stopping any time a pretty plaza or building caught our eye.
When it comes to finding the best hotels in Seville, Spain, you’re genuinely spoiled for choice — from grand historic landmarks to intimate boutique properties tucked away in quieter neighborhoods. Below, I’m sharing the hotel we actually stayed at (a surprisingly lovely and very comfortable 3-star pick) plus a few boutique properties I’ve had on my list, whether from Instagram research or sneaking a peek in person.
One thing worth noting: the 3-star finds in Seville far exceed what I’ve come across in other Spanish cities and European countries. In places like Italy, 3-stars often fall off dramatically from a 4-star, but that doesn’t seem to be the case in Seville, so they’re absolutely worth considering if you want to stretch your travel budget.
H10 Corregidor Boutique Hotel
H10 Corregidor is where we stayed on our trip in 2023 — my mom booked it, and we were all pleasantly surprised by how lovely it felt for a 3-star hotel. It is decorated in a warm Andalusian style: tiled floors, pretty archways, and cozy lounge corners that feel lived-in. The room I shared with my sister was tiny. Still, it was clean and comfortable, and the shared spaces were where it really stood out — a little patio at the back, a lobby bar with lovely service (and mojitos), and plenty of space to sit and relax after a long day of walking around.
Location-wise, it’s in a quiet, slightly more residential pocket that still feels very walkable. We could easily get to the Cathedral, the main shopping streets, and the historic center on foot, but we were just far enough removed that nights were calm and peaceful. If you’re looking for something more budget-friendly without sacrificing charm or cleanliness, H10 Corregidor is a great “smart spend” base. I’d happily stay here again.
Why it belongs on your list: Style and comfort without the splurge, lovely shared spaces, and a peaceful yet walkable location perfect for exploring Seville.
Hotel Alfonso XIII, a Luxury Collection Hotel
Hotel Alfonso XIII is Seville’s top-knotch stay — the kind of hotel you don’t just stay in, you experience. It was commissioned by the King of Spain in 1929. It looks and feels like a palace, with incredible architecture, archways, and the type of intricate tilework that makes you want to photograph every corner. It’s the most iconic hotel in the city, and for good reason.
Located just beside the Real Alcázar and a short walk from the Cathedral, it puts you right in the historic heart of Seville. Inside, the spaces are grand, romantic, and unapologetically luxurious: a stunning courtyard, a beautiful pool (a major blessing in Seville’s warmth), multiple restaurants and bars, and rooms that feel like stepping back in time — in the most glamorous way.
Why it belongs on your list: A true landmark stay with historic architecture, elegance, and the kind of grandeur that turns your Seville trip into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. For Marriott Bonvoy members, it’s also a part of the Luxury Collection! Definitely on my own personal list for a future return trip!
Hotel Casa de Colón
Another unexpected 3-star find, Casa de Colón is one of those small, character-filled boutique hotels that feels like a little secret tucked into the heart of Seville. Housed in a historic building just steps from the Cathedral, it has high ceilings, Spanish tile, airy balconies, and rooms individually decorated with warm, vintage-leaning touches. It’s more like staying in a stylish townhouse than a traditional hotel.
Because of its central location, it’s an ideal “walk everywhere” base. You can wander to the Cathedral in seconds, explore Santa Cruz at golden hour, or stop for a late-night tapa without worrying about taxis. It’s simple, charming, and full of personality — perfect if you want a boutique stay with heart rather than heavy formality.
Why it belongs on your list: An intimate, home-like atmosphere, unbeatable proximity to the Cathedral, and historic charm in every corner.
Hotel Boutique Casa del Poeta
Casa del Poeta is the definition of a romantic Seville stay — a quiet, hidden-in-plain-sight hotel tucked into the streets of Santa Cruz. Rooms sit around a central courtyard filled with archways, greenery, and soft lighting in the evenings. It’s peaceful, elegant, and just the right amount of old-world charm.
Inside, expect warm tones and classic Andalusian style that feels both refined and cozy. When I took a peek at reviews, I found that many guests rave about the atmosphere at night, when the courtyard fills with soft live music. It’s the kind of place where you end the day with a glass of wine in the courtyard and feel like you’re a world away from the busy city streets!
Why it belongs on your list: A romantic hideaway with serene courtyards, intimate rooms, and a beautifully classic Andalusian aesthetic.
Hotel Boutique Corral del Rey by ALUZ Collection
Another unexpected 3-star find, Corral del Rey is a dream for design lovers — a restored casa palacio that blends original architectural details with thoughtful, modern interiors. Think exposed beams, stone columns, layered textures, moody lighting, and rooms that feel effortlessly stylish without trying too hard.
One of its standout features is the rooftop terrace: a pool with views over the historic center, perfect for golden hour cocktails or a quiet moment before dinner. The hotel is located in the Alfalfa district — central, lively, and full of great spots to eat and wander. Corral del Rey is intimate and beautifully executed, making it a perfect boutique stay for travelers who appreciate design.
Why it belongs on your list: Stunning design, a picture-perfect rooftop with views and a pool, and boutique luxury tucked inside a centuries-old palace.
Whether you’re planning your first visit or returning to fall in love with the city all over again, Seville offers no shortage of beautiful places to stay. From iconic luxury hotels to intimate boutique properties tucked into historic neighborhoods, each of these picks offers something unique — design, simplicity, walkability, or exceptional value. Wherever you land in Spain, the magic of Seville will follow you home. I’m already dreaming about my next trip back.
Plan Your Trip to Seville
If you’re still in the early stages of planning, my 5-Day Seville Itinerary covers exactly how I’d structure the days — including the Cathedral, the Real Alcázar, day trips, and the best neighborhoods to wander. For finding flights, I rely on Google Flights to track prices and set alerts well in advance.
For experiences once you arrive — flamenco shows, Alcázar skip-the-line tours, tapas and wine walks — Viator is my go-to for vetted, bookable options. Seville’s flamenco scene in particular is something you’ll want to book ahead; it fills up quickly, especially in the warmer months.
