The Best Airbnbs in Polignano a Mare: Dreamy Stays in Puglia’s Most Picturesque Seaside Town
Last Updated on January 26, 2026 by Lauren Belzer Sanford
Polignano a Mare is one of Puglia’s most picturesque towns, and the perfect place to slow down. But to truly experience its magic, where you stay matters just as much as what you see.
When my husband and I were planning our destination wedding week in Puglia, we considered several of these Airbnbs in Polignano a Mare — some as a cozy two-person hideaway for the days before meeting up with our families, and others big enough for a lively group of 11 before we ultimately decided on the masseria route (and fell in love with Masseria Le Torri). From charming cliffside apartments to spacious villas with private terraces, these are some of the best Airbnbs in Polignano a Mare — each one offering its own blend of style, comfort, and that postcard-perfect coastal charm.
While I haven’t personally stayed at every Airbnb on this list, each one was hand-picked for its dreamy decor, great location, thoughtful amenities, and glowing guest reviews.

Once home to a local fisherman named Tonino, the residence has been lovingly restored, retaining its old-world charm while adding thoughtful modern touches.
Spread over three levels, the home features a cozy living area with a balcony that peeks out toward the Adriatic Sea, a compact kitchenette for simple meals, and a serene double bedroom accented with blue cement tiles reminiscent of the colors of the water below. If you want to stay right in the heart of Polignano a Mare’s historic center, Far Niente puts you in the middle of it all. Tucked along Via Roma, the main street lined with whitewashed alleys, artisan shops, and cozy trattorias, this bright and recently renovated home blends traditional Apulian charm with modern comfort.
Inside, you’ll find a double bedroom, a sleek bathroom, and a light-filled living space with a pull-out sofa. While the home is listed for up to four guests, it’s best suited for two, or for a family with little ones who can cozy up on the sofa bed. Two private balconies overlook the lively streets below, perfect for morning espresso or an aperitivo as the sun dips down!
When I say it is perfectly located, I mean it is perfectly located. From Far Niente, you’re just a short stroll to Lama Monachile, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, and countless sea-view terraces.

For a front-row seat to one of Puglia’s most iconic views, Dimora Merlata Suite delivers. This lovely apartment sits right above the dramatic cliffs of Lama Monachile, with a balcony that frames the postcard-perfect stone bridge and sparkly water below.

Casa Olympia

Casa Olympia feels like a love letter to Polignano a Mare. Even though we only needed space for two, it was still one of my favorite Airbnbs when we conducted our search, but unfortunately booked up before I could come back to it to reconsider. With its sunlit rooftop terrace and sweeping sea views, this beautifully restored home retains the character of an ancient village house: whitewashed walls, arched doorways, and charming details, all while offering the comfort of two private suites – each with its own en-suite bathroom.
The rooftop, fully equipped for lounging or dining, is the real showstopper. Located on a peaceful street in the heart of the historic center, you’re just steps from Lama Monachile and Cala Paura beach, too!
TD Casa Fusella

Just outside Polignano a Mare, TD Casa Fusella offers the kind of Apulian escape that feels worlds away — yet keeps the town’s charm and coastline within easy reach. Perched in a panoramic position overlooking the Adriatic, this villa blends the rustic beauty of a traditional trullo with modern comforts, surrounded by a lush Mediterranean garden.
While the listing says it’s for 4 guests, you can fit up to 6. Inside, you’ll find two double bedrooms, a cozy lounge with a sofa bed, a spacious kitchen, and a light-filled living room opening to a shaded outdoor area. Outside is where this home really shines: a scenic pool, solarium, an outdoor kitchen and barbecue, plus multiple lounging spots for lazy afternoons.
Whether you’re after a romantic hideaway for two, a sun-drenched rooftop for a family aperitivo, or a villa with a pool and room for everyone, Polignano a Mare has an Airbnb for every kind of traveler. Each of these stays offers its own way to experience the magic of this cliffside gem — from waking up to the sound of waves crashing against ancient stone to sipping wine as the sun melts into the countryside.
For us, finding the right place to stay in Puglia wasn’t just about having a bed for the night — it was about making our time here feel unforgettable, whether it was just the two of us or a big family gathering. And in Polignano a Mare, the right Airbnb can do exactly that. This little pocket of southern Italy is every bit as magical as it looks in the postcards (and Pinterest).
